FICT Privacy Policy

FICT creates private fictional interactive-video stories. No email account or login is required. A random device capability identifies and protects your guest session. Treat the capability as a password; do not share it.

Information processed

We process the premises, story choices, generated scripts, images, videos, generation status, anonymous guest identifier and credit balance needed to operate the app. Store purchases are verified through RevenueCat; we process product identifiers and transaction identifiers to grant credits and prevent duplicate grants. Apple and Google handle payment details; FICT does not collect your card number.

Processing providers

Convex stores and processes guest sessions, stories, generation jobs and the credit ledger. OpenRouter routes text prompts and story context to the configured language-model provider, currently Google Gemini, to plan fictional scenes. fal.ai processes generation prompts and reference images to produce scene images and videos, using fast image models and MiniMax H3 Max Turbo. RevenueCat verifies purchases and subscription events. Requests necessarily transmit relevant content and technical network information to those providers. Their own retention and infrastructure policies also apply.

Do not include sensitive personal information or private information about other people in story prompts. Stories are not posted to a public feed. Media delivery URLs may function as bearer links; anyone you share an exported file or working link with may be able to view it.

Purpose and sharing

We use this information to generate and replay your stories, protect access, verify purchases, maintain credits, investigate failures and prevent abuse. The app also sends a small, pseudonymous usage record to SecondEarth AI's own measurement service so we can tell which version of the first-run experience and which offer people saw: a one-way hash derived from the guest session, the screens reached, the language and country of the device, the app version, and purchase outcomes. It carries no story text, no prompts, no choices and no contact details, and it is not linked to your identity. The release contains no ads, no advertising identifier and no third-party cross-app tracking or analytics SDK. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and deletion

You can delete stories or all app data in Settings. App-data deletion removes the guest record and associated story text, media records, generation jobs and reports from the app's active data, and clears the locally cached first-run configuration, the queued usage records and the pseudonymous measurement identifier on the device. We retain non-linked hashed purchase transaction identifiers to prevent purchases from being credited twice, and bounded hashed review-code redemption markers to prevent repeated review-credit grants. RevenueCat customer deletion is requested asynchronously; provider backups and independently retained generation artifacts are subject to those providers' policies. We do not promise instant deletion from every provider or backup. Store billing records are controlled by Apple or Google. Deleting app data does not cancel a store subscription; cancel it in your store account settings.
